Too Scared Or Too Lost?

When you keep driving your car into park benches, trees and walls you eventually either give up or you get help.

My friends, there is nothing so sad as one who professes Christ as their Savior and yet has no love for the lost; no desire to see them rescued; or that they don't make every attempt they can to rescue souls! You have NO EXCUSE, you who make arguments about why you cannot share your faith. The training is available, people who love to train other believers are available and there are resources brimming with explanations and encouragements on how, when and where to share your faith.

There is NO EXCUSE you remaining mute.

So let me help you understand your real problem for why you hesitate by saying first that, since I learned this key to evangelism, not a single day goes by that I have not in some way shared my faith. Shouldn't that be you too?

For years I yearned to share my faith with people, as every Believer does, and I paid dearly for my blundering bull-in-the-china-shop manner. And so, when I had nearly all but given up and begged God to show me, to explain to me, why it was so hard for me to preach the gospel, the Spirit of God led me to WayoftheMaster.com and I got my answer:

I was doing it wrong.

Plain and simply, I was making it too difficult. The Gospel is so simple but most of us have missed it because how to share the Gospel was lost for quite some time in Evangelicalism. And it is still not well used, yet. So I was very grateful to see the latest Southern Baptist Convention had the message of repentance as their central theme in seeking to remedy their failure in "intentional evangelism" and "soul-winning".

As they pre-screened Kirk Cameron's new film, "Fireproof" (great job Kirk!) where the Way of the Master training (thank you Ray!) was emphasized, with the help of the Pastor of the Church that made the movie "Facing the Giants" and "Fireproof", I could see hope on the horizon for America. Once you understand, as I and SBC President Frank Page have, that the issue is you then you can know where to begin looking for the remedy.

When you keep driving your car into park benches, trees and walls you eventually either give up or you get help.

A young friend of mine is off sharing his faith, now confident he knows what he's doing, and so can you. Rest assured he was a mess when he first started but did he give up? NO! He sought out the nearest Way of the Master trained Adventures in Christianity member and drove over an hour every week on Fridays for months to learn hands on! And learn he did too! I am happy to say he is now Biblically trained to share his faith and does so, often and effectively.

So what is holding you back?

Why do you keep excusing your lack of will?

Why do you keep accepting that it's for someone else to do?

Why do you continue to deny you don't know what you're doing and that's why you're afraid?

Yes, it's as simple as that. You're afraid you'll mess it up. And you'd be right! If you've not been to flight school then you wouldn't get behind the yoke of an airplane and try to fly it. And if that makes sense then why would you still try to wing it (or give up from "winging it" so badly) with the Gospel; why would you not then find out how to declare the Gospel rightly?

Is it Fear? Or are you lost yourself?

These are very serious questions you must answer.

Listen, the WayoftheMaster.com and LivingWaters.com websites have the resources you need. Listen to or watch Hell's Best Kept Secret and True and False Conversion from their site, without any obligation or registration what--so--ever!!! What do you have to lose but your shame? After doing so, if you aren't on fire to learn more, then you'd better check your pulse and be seriously concerned for your own soul. For "the man who has no desire to see souls saved is not saved himself, be sure of that."*

You don't need to wait for a large group of people to go to. You should not even tract events while ignoring the neighbors or the coffee guy.

Since learning how to effectively make a sinner understand God's grace, by first taking him through the Law of Yahweh, I have become more and more aware of just how FEW Christians there are in this world, by the un-Godly reactions of those professing Jesus. They deny they have any responsibility to tell others about His rescue available, and yet when I preach they try and stop me. Maybe it's from guilt.

I would rather have us all blundering about than silent, wouldn't you? Yet there are so many professing Christ demonstrating clearly they are false converts as they try to stop the Gospel being heard. Don't let that be you.

Now that the key to sharing your faith has been found again, go and learn it, like those Pastors did at that latest SBC convention. And then tell those frozen chosen to repent of their disobedience, like you did, like I did.

Be Deliberate; Be effective, Be obedient.
You just may learn to dearly regret not doing so.

I pray the Father you will be glad the moment you see the face of Jesus, relieved you obeyed His command to go and speak…because, you have no excuse.
