Tokyo-Rosie, Harry, Hillary & Nancy

As promised, President Bush vetoed the Democrat-deny troops funds and cut and run-timetable.  "Setting a deadline for withdrawal is setting a date for failure," President Bush said Tuesday.  Something the Democrats aren't that worried about.  After all, they need something to put in their campaign commercials.

Let me summarize the foreign policy of the Democrat Party: "We hate Bush."  And hate is not a foreign policy.

Although they fell short of their veto-override, Nancy "I Negotiate with Terrorists" Pelosi and Harry "The War is Lost" Reid have terrorists world-wide high-fiving each other.   But just where do Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Rosie O'Donnell get their talking points about the war?  Let's put it into historical context.

During World War II, the Japanese developed a way to demoralize the American forces.  Psychological warfare experts developed a message and gave the script for broadcast to the smooth-talking anti-American propagandist: "Tokyo Rose."  The station played the music our troops wanted to hear, intermixed with psychological warfare they didn't.  All aimed at demoralizing our American GI's.  What was that demoralizing message?

It had three main points:

1.     Your President is lying to you.

2.     This war is illegal.

3.     You cannot win the war.

Sound familiar?   Yep, those are the Democrat talking points.

"Your President is lying to you."  Pick a Democrat, any Democrat, and you'll find a version of this little ditty.  "Bush Lied, People Died" websites and bumper stickers-are still found on Kerry cars (who voted for the war before voting against it).  Tokyo Hillary  said of Bush and the war in Iraq: "I think the height of irresponsibility and I really resent it … this was his decision to go to war …"   I guess she should have thought about that before voting for the war in 2002 and supporting the mission until recently.  But, as she said in the Democrat debates, when she voted with the President for the war: she "did as good a job I could at the time. It was a sincere vote based on the information available to me."  Just like the president.  Same vote; same information, only she's "sincere" and he's a "liar."

The same is true for their second talking point: "This war is illegal."  All a rallying cry they might have thought of before voting for it.  And of course Tokyo Harry's version of:  "You cannot win the war":  "the war is lost."

I'm not saying you have to agree with every policy relating to the war to be pro-American, but I think it says something that the terrorists are rooting for the Democrats.

One terror leader, Khaled Al-Batch, a militant and spokesman for Islamic Jihad, loves the fact that Democrats want to negotiate with Syria, Hamas, and Hezbollah.  The terrorist said of Pelosi: "I hope she wins the next elections."

I don't.  But, as a guest from the Media Research Center said recently on my radio program, if Christians stay out of the elections as we did in 2006, we have only ourselves to blame for a "Rosie O'Donnell Congress."  One, as Tokyo Rosie said, thinks that Christians are "just as threatening as radical Islam."

A few things Tokyo Rosie & her gang should know:

  1. Christians spread the Gospel through freedom; Islam is spread through force.
  2. Islamists want to kill Americans and Jews (as the Great and Little Satan respectively).
  3. Those hijacked planes we all saw fly into the World Trade Center buildings and the Pentagon weren't mirages.
  4. And fire melts steel.

One more helpful bit of information when constructing talking points:  Tokyo Rose was tried for treason.
