Call to Action

Congressional Prayer Caucus Press Conference

March 23, 2007

On March 28, 2007 at 12:00 noon, Congressman J. Randy Forbes (VA-04) announced today that he and over 30 other Members of Congress from 19 states will hold a bi-partisan press conference on the west steps of the United States Capitol.  They have formed the Congressional Prayer Caucus, the first official congressional caucus dedicated to prayer. Each week, dozens of Members gather to pray for America, and they are asking individuals across the country to commit to pray five minutes each week asking God to heal our land.  Although representing different denominations and belonging to different political parties, these members unite in recognizing the importance of prayer in our country and in the belief that God will answer our prayer.

You are invited to join them on the steps of the Capitol for this historic press conference, calling America back to prayer.

Please feel free to forward this message on to others in the Virginia, Maryland, Washington, DC area who might be able to attend on that day.
