An Answer to Katharine Schori, a False Witness

If your Jesus is not the only way for salvation then your Jesus is a false God

Monday, July 10^th, of 2006, Katharine Schori, the now confirmed, as of this week, "Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, U.S.A.", was asked a series of questions by a columnist for a well known magazine here in the U.S. These questions were obviously designed for Schori to clarify her faith with the public, in general, and her own denomination, in particular. Her replies were shocking, saddening, silly, maddening and blasphemous, to name just a few pertinent adjectives.

Let me explain why… A reply of Katharine to one of these questions was so denigrating of Jesus Christ, and is such a clear violation of the First and Second commandments, that to hear this comment from the leader of any denomination of Christianity literally made me nauseous with anguish:

Interviewer: "Is belief in Jesus the only way to get to heaven?"

Schori: "We who practice the Christian tradition understand him as our vehicle to the divine. But for us to assume that God could not act in other ways is, I think, to put God in an awfully small box."

She had also sided with the Godless over the theory of Evolution, remarking on this failed hypothesis that it is, "the best witness of what modern science has taught us." God help us all if this is the best science has. Those who desire to continue in their sin would rather believe utter nonsense than accept accountability to an obviously existent Creator. The author of the new forward for the reprint of Darwin's "Origin of the Species" has indicated he'd rather believe in fairy tales, just so he can keep on enjoying his sin, rather than accept what his own logic tells him. And so now a leader of a CHRISTIAN denomination says she thinks it's the best example of science and denies the God she represents.

Is it any wonder, then, that whole segments of the Anglican community are petitioning for her removal as their head Bishop?

Reading her other replies to more questions put to her I must conclude, by the context of her comments, that Bishop Schori does not know what being "born again" even means and has never repented to put her trust in Jesus to save her from the just reward of her sins. Clearly, her mind is still "of the world" and she needs to repent of her defamations. Jesus is the only way for any of us to receive forgiveness for our sins, Katherine. You are very wrong.

Every Muslim, Buddhist, Agnostic (Atheists don't exist), Hindu, Animist or anyone else who still thinks they can make it to heaven with anyone else or by any other means but Jesus, is lost if they die in their sins. There is no other way to heaven but by Jesus, no other payment for our sins acceptable to our Creator.

God Himself, Yeshua, known as Jesus to us non-Jews, stated the conclusion of the matter plainly when He said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." John 14:6.

Call Yahweh narrow minded, say our trust in Jesus as the only way to heaven is silly, as you do, as you try to gain ground for the deviant agendas you espouse. But don't kid yourself, Katharine, that Jesus said anything else, that scripture alludes to anyone else for our salvation and sanctification, or that you have ever entrusted yourself to His care in utter surrender: The fruit of your tree is rotten. And every dead tree is to be torn down and thrown into the fire. Your only hope is utter surrender to Jesus.

But, if you do believe Jesus is the ONLY way Katherine, if you are a new creation, then say so, unequivocally. Only the public profession of your faith will save you now.

HEAR ME ALL CHRISTIANS! Get OFF the FENCE! The time is NOW to declare only Jesus saves! Choose this day whom you will serve and then, if Jesus, begin today to state so publicly with me.

If you cannot say "Only Jesus Saves" then stop calling yourself a Christian, give your bible back to your pastor, and don't darken the door of any Christian church again.

But consider yourself duly warned, this day, before Yahweh Himself: If you reject God by refusing to state clearly what you believe IN PUBLIC, then, when you stand before Yahweh and Jesus on Judgment Day, Jesus will deny He even knows you and Hell will be your destiny forever.

Matthew 10:29-33
"Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father's will, but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don't be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows. Everyone therefore who confesses me before men, him I will also confess before my Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies me before men, him I will also deny before my Father who is in heaven."

Jesus tells us not to be afraid but to declare Him before all men. Don't make Katharine's mistake and deny Jesus in order to be popular, or out of the fear of others who can only kill the body.
Pay attention reader: If you have ever lied, stolen anything, or ever lusted, like all the rest of us have, then you are guilty of sins, having violated God's Laws, the Ten Commandments. Please, don't make up a God you can be comfortable in your sinning with, as Katherine has clearly demonstrated she has done, but fear Yahweh and live.
